Furrah Kashif

Ms Kashif has been working with the Firm since 2010. She has done her Master of Letters (LL.M.) in International Development Law and Human Rights, from the University of Warwick, in the United Kingdom; and her Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from Pakistan College of Law which is affiliated with University of the Punjab.

Ms Kashif has previously worked with former Judge of the Lahore High Court, Ms Jamila Aslam. She has also worked with Mr Ali Kazim advocate.

Maham Nawaz

Ms. Maham Nawaz joined the Firm immediately after the completion of her LL.B from The Institute of Legal Studies, an affiliate centre of the University of London (International programmes), in 2017. She graduated with a First Class Honours, standing third among the fifteen students worldwide who were awarded a First Class.

During the course of her LL.B, Maham achieved the highest score in Pakistan in Criminal Law, Tort Law and Equity and Trusts. She also scored four distinctions in her second year and was awarded the University of London Academic Achievement Award for the year 2016. Maham further balanced her studies with active organization of, and participation in, Mock Trials and Law Moots; including The Millennium National Moot Court Competition 2015, where the TILS team, headed by Maham, was announced the winner. She was also awarded an Honorary Mention.

Maham has previously interned with Ahmer Bilal Soofi and Co, as well as attended several trainings at the Research Society of International Law. She is also currently working as a Lecturer of Islamic Law at the Institute of Legal Studies, Islamabad.

Daniyal Hassan

Daniyal completed his LL.B (Hons.) from the University of London International Programmes in 2015 with a 2:1 degree.

During law school, Daniyal volunteered in multiple community service projects and took part in conferences on diverse themes. He was a part of a focused group discussion with the UN Secretary General’s Envoy on Youth, Mr. Ahmed Alhendawi in June 2014. He has participated in law moots during his degree and won the “Best Advocate” awards at two of them.

Daniyal was one of the 25 participants from Pakistan who participated in a U.S. State Department sponsored exchange program in the summer of 2014. This program (Study of the U.S. Institutes) on comparative public policy, was conducted at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

After returning from the exchange program, Daniyal joined the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) which has over 15,000 members across Pakistan. Owing to his leadership skills, he got elected as Youth Group Director of the Islamabad chapter of the alumni network in October 2014. He has been working with the network on various projects, which include serving as the President and Founder of, “Pakistan Law Moot”, a project aimed at enhancing mooting skills of law students. In this regards, Mr. Hassan is also working on organizing the national rounds for the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, in Pakistan. Jessup is the world’s largest international law competition.

On the 800th anniversary of the world’s first human rights charter, The Magna Carta, Daniyal was invited for a panel discussion on its practical significance by the British High Commission in Pakistan. Mr. Hassan was a part of the panel which comprised of dignitaries including the British High Commissioner to Pakistan, H.E. Philip R. Barton.
